Come and join us at the Tyneside Irish Centre in Newcastle for our Children's Christmas Party 2005!

Join Santa Claus, Mary Clause and the Elves as we make Christmas Decorations to dress the Christmas Tree.
​
​​All children will receive a gift from Santa with party food available, a disco and other games. It'll be a great fun day to get in the Christmas spirit to start the festive season.

Even though the party starts at 2pm feel free to pop along straight after school or at at any time through the afternoon.
​

Giant Fundraiser Music Evening

After the success of our last fundraiser evening at the Irish Centre in Newcastle we are back!
​
On November 14th we are having a joint fundraiser evening with the WASPI women supporting the homeless and hospices in the local area.
Join us for a fun evening fundraising the return of our famous Smile Bingo Boogie. We are also joined by great musical guests including:

Our Workshop Plans
One of our stated Community Interest Company missions is to provide training to help those without traditional access to develop and learn trades that will aid in their ability to get back into the workplace.

To this end we have recently stepped up our search for workshop premises so that our partners and supporters Resources (NE) Ltd can start to deliver on our mission.
​

March 21st 2025 - Smile for Val Musical Fundraiser Evening - Tyneside Irish Centre

Thank you for everybody who attended fundraiser evening on the 21st of March at our now regular venue, the Tyneside Irish Centre in Newcastle.
We had a great evening fundraising and loads of fun was had by all with great music from our supporting artists.

Dear Smile Wide Together family,
We have made the tough decision to postpone the three-day Smile Wide Together festival that was scheduled to happen in September.
This is not a decision that has been made lightly but given recent social unrest and the potential strain on resources for the festival, we felt that this decision was necessary for the safety of festival goers, stall holders and performers alike.
However, we are delighted to confirm there will be some other events coming up in the very near future that we can't wait share with you all. Watch this space for upcoming announcements; we are looking forward to seeing you soon!
